TELLING YOUR STORIES THROUGH THE INNOVATIVE MEDIUM OF PODCASTING
PRODUCER ᐧ CONSULTANT ᐧ EDUCATOR
I have years of professional experience in podcast production. I have successfully produced multiple podcasts from development to launch. I also offer services in recording (both in-studio and in-field) and editing.
I have run workshops about podcasting and lectured at multiple esteemed post-secondary institutions. Sessions include: Podcast Production 101, Podcast Monetization, Storytelling with Audio, and the Business of Podcasting. I am available for guest lecturing opportunities.
I am a Podcast Producer helping businesses and individual podcast producers reach their target audience and create high-quality audio content.
Before starting freelance work, I spent a number of years as the Senior Editorial and Technical Podcast Producer at Entertainment One's Podcast Network. I was one of the initial employees of the podcast network and was responsible for transitioning the network to a new hosting service and integrating dynamic ad insertion to improve their business practices. This experience has provided me with invaluable knowledge that is rare and in demand. Before working for Entertainment One's Podcast Network, I completed an MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University, where I produced a six-part podcast series called Unconditional about the experiences of women whose children are incarcerated.
After a successful career working with independent podcast producers to improve their shows, fielding network pitches, and producing content, I have a thorough understanding of both the business and the creative sides of the podcast industry.
My work has been featured by CBC, NPR, RadioPublic, and I have been a panel guest speaker at the Hot Docs Podcast Festival.
I am available for freelance producing, teaching opportunities, or private consultations on podcasting.
